OPEN ACCESS: Students may come to the Library independently or in small groups to check out Library books or use the library to find information they need. Teachers may schedule and bring their class to use the library for research or group activity with Librarian's assistance.

1st Grade: Read Dewey: there's a cat in the library! by Vicki Myron & Bret Witter. Discuss the different sections of the Non-fiction area.
2nd Grade: Read Wolf! by Becky Bloom. Choosing a Just-Right Book. Five finger Rule.
3rd Grade: Read the rest of Texas Bluebonnet Nominee Hiawatha and the Peacemaker by Robbie Robertson.
4th Grade: Read 15 min. from the Texas Bluebonnet Nominees Handful of Stars by Cynthia Lord.
5th Grade: CA Testing - No Lesson
6th Grade: Picture Day - No Lesson
